I would say that there is hardly any recovery time the most important and the biggest advantage of doing laparoscopic surgery is to reduce the recovery time. Infact the patient feels so good the next day after the surgery, even after a complex surgery, that there is hardly any recovery time. But I would say that at the end of a complex laparoscopic surgery, taking about 2 or 3 days of rest is enough, right from the next day of surgery, the patient is able to get up and walk on her own, bend, sit and squat, climb the stairs up and down., drive herself, travel any distance, if she is a working woman, after 4 to 5 days or maximum a week later she can get back to her working pattern or day to day activities even cooking, driving, working for long hours, sitting for long hours, travelling for long distances, all these things can be comfortably done after 4 to 5 days.
