This 1996 song belonging to the Romanian hard rock band Iris was released on their "Full Moon" album and it's one of the greatest Iris achievements. The song was re-released in 2000 as a symphonic version, on "Iris Athenaeum" - one of the most important musical projects in Romania. The song is a tribute to Bon Scott, AC/DC's first vocalist. On February 19th, 1980, Bon Scott was found dead in London after a night of heavy drinking, in this way having his metaphoric "last breakfast". The life "drank" him and, as this song suggests, each of us can be very easily lied and "drunk" by our own life. The lyrics have multiple meanings, following the life/death antithesis and letting the listener to discover new philosophical senses of life. From the musical point of view, the song's structure varies, including slow rhythms along with heavy metal portions. Here we have a live performance of "Bon's Last Breakfast" recorded at the "Iris 25 Years" anniversary concert, where Iris had as special guests the legendary British group Uriah Heep.
