Amtrak Retired P42DC Locomotives Part 3

Here are the Retired P42DCs from Amtrak in the 2001 era.

141, 143, 149, 156 (Phase I), 162, 165, 166, 167, 173, 177, 178, 185, 191, 195, 197, and 200 got retired due to accidents, incidents, damages, wrecked, mechanical failures, engine problems, and old age. Farewell to those Genesis units till it got replaced by Siemens ALC42 Chargers. Those remained in the Beech Grove shops awaiting scrap, or using for parts since they're out of service.

Only 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 142, 144, 145 (Phase III), 146, 147, 148, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 157, 158, 159, 160 (Dash 8 Phase III), 161 (Phase I), 163, 164 (Phase IV), 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 174, 175, 176, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, 184 (Phase IV now V), 186, 187, 188, 189, 190, 192, 193, 194, 196, 198, 199, 201, 202, 203 (Operation Lifesaver), 204, 205, 206, and 207 were still in service before retirement.
