"Cake with Chocolate Ganache and Pistachio Cream"
Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Ganache:
600g Whipping cream
100g White chocolate
100g Pistachio cream (optional)
For the Cake:
8 Eggs
200g Sugar
400g Flour
120g Oil
100g Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
300g White chocolate
1 Tablespoon Oil
For Decoration:
Small Pistachio nuts
Instructions:
1. Make the Chocolate Ganache:
In a saucepan over low heat, gently warm the whipping cream.
Add the white chocolate and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
If using, stir in the pistachio cream.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Once cool, beat the ganache with an electric mixer until it thickens and becomes light and airy.
2. Bake the Cake:
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy and the volume has doubled.
Gradually add the flour, oil, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition to ensure a smooth batter.
Divide the batter evenly between two cake pans.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool completely in the pans before removing and slicing.
3. Assemble the Cake:
Cut each cake layer in half horizontally to create four layers.
Place the first layer on a serving plate.
Spread a generous layer of the cooled ganache over the cake layer.
Top with the second layer and repeat with ganache.
Continue layering cake and ganache until all layers are used.
Spread the remaining ganache over the top and sides of the cake, smoothing it evenly.
4. Make the Glaze:
Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring occasionally until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the oil.
5. Decorate and Chill:
Pour the glaze over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
Decorate with chopped pistachios.
Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the ganache to set.
6. Serve:
Cut and enjoy your delicious cake!
