The BRISKET Cook-Off : Pitmaster Vs ChatGPT!

Описание к видео The BRISKET Cook-Off : Pitmaster Vs ChatGPT!

Hey everyone! With all the talk around the internet about ChatGPT and all the cool stuff it does, I wanted to see if it could tell me how to cook an incredible brisket on the Char-Griller Akorn AutoKamado. I figured it would be interesting to see what the combined intelligence of the internet came up with and who knows, we may learn something we never thought about before. It's always good to get outside of your comfort zone and try something new with cooking. Especially when it comes to BBQ and live fire where there are so many ideas we just take as gospel, it’s super valuable to test those ideas and find out if they work or not for yourself. With that said I asked ChatGPT how to smoke the best brisket on a kamado and we followed its instructions to a T. What resulted was interesting for sure. If you try this, let me know what you think of your results. #cooking #brisket #outdoorcooking ‪@BBCharcoal‬ ‪@Char-Griller‬

Ingredients:
1 Full Packer Brisket
4 Tbsp of your favorite BBQ rub
4 Tbsp of your favorite SPG mixture

Recipe:
Minimally trim your brisket by removing any surface fat and trimming the fat cap to ¼ inch.
Evenly cover the brisket with the BBQ rub and SPG mixture and let set for 30 min.
Bring the AutoKamado up to 250 degrees.
Right before you put your brisket on put a fist full of wood chips on the fire, the cooking stone, and a water pan below the grate.
Place the brisket on the grate fat side up and let it smoke until it reaches 165 degrees fahrenheit internally.
After the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees wrap the brisket in foil fat side down and let it continue cooking until it reaches 200 degrees or is probe tender.
Remove from the cooker and let the brisket rest for ½ hour.
Slice and Serve.
