Our wedding film love story

How did you guys meet?
We met on the dating app called Bumble.

Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time?
Katie is a Social Media Manager and James is a Building Technician. We love spending time together outdoors but also enjoy the quiet times in each other’s company

How did the proposal go down? (All the gushy details, I love this bit!)
There were a few setbacks no thanks to the pandemic however the proposal occurred on Christmas Eve 2020 surrounded by Katie’s family.

How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?
We fell in love with Danesfield House the first time we visited.

What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?
After the last year or so and the challenges a lot of our friends and family have faced, we want everyone to just have a really lovely time celebrating our day with us!

Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme?
Katie loves Disney, so a subtle Cinderella theme seemed very fitting.

What was the hardest decision during the planning?
We have actually found the process fairly straight forward and enjoyable!

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?
I would say to any couples planning a wedding to just enjoy it and don’t look at it as a stressful situation, what will be, will be!
