This, to me, is the final solution for unruly bearing edges and heads. I cant believe i didn't mention it in the video, but this is a technique i saw in a Bob Gatzen video. Bob Gatzen was the drum tuning Guru. RIP Bob. This completes my point on rounded bearing edges. When the head fits the drum, right out of the box, its much easier to tune and the heat gun is not necessary.
