In this video, DIYNate shows his first engine air filter change with his Volvo XC90 SUV after he recently purchased the filter. He uses a product ordered from Amazon Premium Guard brand - PG Air Filter PA5883 that includes a note indicating: "Replaces VOLVO 30680293 Air Filter. Always check fitment using the Vehicle Filter". He quickly realized / learned that it is important to take the plastic connecting hose off the air filter box to give enough room to be able to pull out the old filter and put in a new filter. He also vacuums out the inside because the old filter had parts that had fallen apart inside the filter box. This is a great starter project if you have interest in working on your cars and also if you are just looking to save a few bucks vs. paying mechanics to do this work for you. It also gives you a great sense of accomplishment when it is complete!
