Yoochun was born into a businessman's family and has a younger brother named Park Yu Hwan. Then Park Yoochun moved to the United States with his family when he was 12 years old and lived in Fairfax, Virginia. While in America, Yoochun attended Holmes Middle School and then continued at Chantilly High School. While still in high school in America, Yoochun won a music festival award. And at that time, he met an entertainment company called Brothers Entertainment. Brothers entertainment asked Yoochun to come back to Korea because they saw Park Yoochun's talent.
Because Yoochun's parents divorced, he returned to Korea and tried to audition for SM entertainment and passed. Yoochun doesn't need to practice long because he can debut soon, he's only been a trainee at sm entertainment for year. And managed to debut with his boy band called tvxq in 2003, which consisted of 5 members. Tvxq was indeed known as a famous boy band at the time, because from there K-pop was originally known in Asian circles, especially Japan.
