While the Prime Minister of Israel was speaking at the 79th United Nations General Assembly on Friday, September 27, 2024, anti-Zionist Jews gathered in Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza to protest his speech.

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss expressed the pain felt by Jews when crimes are committed in the name of their religion. Rabbi Weiss clarified that these actions are not in the name of the Jewish people.

He added that standing up against Zionist actions is not anti-Semitic, but rather a duty. The Rabbi emphasized that they are waiting for the complete end of the occupation, and they hope and pray that this will happen soon.
