975 Gram Vorobyevite Collection

A three stone collection containing one of the largest vorobyevite specimens I am aware of, an 895 gram single crystal, still displaying the rough outline of a hexagon, with a cabbable center which should yield several cat's eye vorobyevite cabochons (none currently known to exist, since gem quality vorobyevite, or vorobyevites of any decent size are unheard of); a 49.76 gram fibrous cluster; and a spectacular gemmy 28.05 gram crystal. For an already rare variety of beryl, this lot represents the apex in rarity and beauty with potential beyond those offered by other high end dealers. The potential gems that can be cut from the first and last stones, will, if cut, place among the rarest cut stones in the world.
