Train With Dragging Strap At 5 Track RR Crossing, Dalton Georgia, CSX & Norfolk Southern Trains

Trains Passing 5 Track Railroad Crossing At Train Station In Dalton, Georgia! Dragging Strap From Railroad Car. Trains With DPUs. CSX & Norfolk Southern Trains, A Railroad Diamond In Front Of The Train Station And A Look Inside The Train Station. Passenger Car Being Restored And Views From Both Sides Of The Tracks.
First, we see a CSX auto racks train come across the railroad crossing, pass the train station and go over the railroad diamond that crosses the Norfolk Southern main line.
Then we see inside the train station just before a Norfolk Southern train with a DPU on the rear passes. This train is a mixed freight train and going the same direction past the station as the first train. This train crossed the same railroad diamond and I zoom in to show it.
Next we see a Norfolk Southern intermodal train running southbound. This train has a single auto racks car on the rear. I went to the railroad crossing to get a different view.
The next train is a CSX train with a Sponge Bob Square Cab leading and the second unit has a Western Maryland Decal on the front. This train went over the railroad diamond toward Tennessee.
Then comes a huge Norfolk Southern mixed freight train with a DPU on the rear. After that train I went to the other side of the railroad crossing to get a different view. A CSX rock train passed by going southbound past me. This angle gives a good look at the train station and signals.
I got in the car to leave and just when we were about to pull out a Norfolk Southern mixed freight came through. We heard the bells on the railroad crossing activate so we jumped out and got this train before leaving. It was very hot and in the mid 90s. I went inside the train station a few times to cool down in the air conditioning. I rode to Dalton, Georgia with Scott @1960gambit and this was part of our 4 day visit of this area.
