IS THE LORD CALLING YOU TO SERVE HIM? RETURN BACK TO HIS HOUSE!

Choose Whom You Will Service: Joshua 24:13-15 **

NOTE: REGARDLESS OF THE DECISION GOD’S PEOPLE WOULD MAKE, JOSHUA WAS DETERMINED TO SERVE THE LORD.

(1) Joshua spoke of discernment (v 13): God’s people were reminded of the grace and abundance of God in their lives.
** The bounty of grace: an inheritance of land filled with cities to dwell in and crops to eat.
** The benefit of grace: a land that was already prepared with great abundance.

(2) Joshua spoke of duty (v 14): God’s people had a duty to the Lord.
** Our duty to submit: God demands that we reverence, honor and worship Him.
** Our duty to serve: God’s people need to put their faith in practice and actively engage in serving Him.
** Our duty to sanctify: God’s people cannot honor and please God and hold on to their strange gods.

(3) Joshua spoke of decision (v 15): God’s people were reminded that they needed to make a conscious decision.
** The choice: The choices God’s people make will have consequences now and in the future.
** The commitment: If there has ever been a time that God’s people need commitment unto the Lord, it is TODAY.
