This is a Fender Jaguar Sunburst 1965 from Fullerton, California. Introduced in spring 1962, the Jaguar was billed as faster and easier to play with its shorter scale length and advanced switching options.

This early CBS-era Jaguar, built shortly after Fender's sale to CBS in January 1965, shows general wear but is in fine playing condition. The Alder body features a "target" 3-color sunburst finish full of mojo.

The neck, with a bound rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl dots, dates from August 1, 1965, and has a B-profile. The headstock features the original logo and double-line Kluson tuners.

The original Pat # tremolo bridge works perfectly, and the tremolo arm has a slight bow for optimal usability. The only thing missing is the bridge cover. The tortoise pickguard is also original and shows no cracks. The original shielding plate is also present.

Comes with a solid modern case.
