5 National Parks In 5 Days! - SLC to Vegas Road Trip

Hands down, this was the most epic road trip we've been on! We covered five national parks in five days, exploring numerous back roads and byways.

We kicked off our adventure in Salt Lake City before heading to Buckhorn Wash for our first night. Dinosaurs once roamed this area, and later, artists found inspiration here.

Spending the next night on the edge of Arches National Park allowed us early access to the park. Delicate Arch and the Windows section were highlights, so we arrived early to avoid crowds. After exploring the park, we headed to Moab for a well-deserved break.

Corona Arch was our first stop the following day, and it quickly became a favorite. We then followed the Shafer Trail through the back entrance of Canyonlands National Park. Mesa Arch was a breathtaking sight before we continued west to the Moon Overlook campsite. The panoramic views, including stunning sunsets and sunrises, made this our favorite campsite yet.

The next day, we embarked on a high-speed journey through Cathedral Valley, visiting Temple of the Sun. We then explored Capitol Reef National Park, indulging in local fruit before driving the scenic Burr Trail along the Waterpocket Fold. Highway 12 offered some of the most breathtaking scenery we've ever experienced, surpassing even the iconic Highway 1.

We ended the trip with a relaxing stay in a hotel near Zion National Park. After a good night's rest, we rented e-bikes to explore the park, avoiding the long shuttle lines.

Our most action packed trip without a doubt but it also held a lot of favorites and firsts.
