Sweet Mary (Cover of the Rock Classic by Wadsworth Mansion)

I am thrilled to present my latest music video and single, "Sweet Mary" by Wadsworth Mansion. This classic pop tune, which was written by the late Steve Jablecki, hit the top 10 charts way back in 1971. The song was written about a soldier in Vietnam that got a letter from his wife or girlfriend. She says in the letter that she “has a stomach full of love”, and he needs to get home to his family. I understand that Steve wrote it on a piano and pitched it around New York before the band recorded it. I think the song was simple, catchy and different to anything else I had been subjected to at that early stage of my life. I don’t remember ever hearing the song on the radio. I only heard it at the farm in Kentucky. Maybe that was the reason I loved it so much. Marcia Ramirez joins me on vocals.
