Doing Ganondorf's Classic Mode run.
"Ahh, to be in the presence of a goddess right in front of me," Ganondorf said, with his iconic evil look scaring Chris, who hid behind the goddess. "I have the power to defy you and take your own power for my use. Is it wise for you to invite me here?"
"Look, none of us are here to get new powers or conquer the next big kingdom," Palutena said. "We're here to show what we got...and mess around. Preferably the latter."
"I do neither. I have returned from DEATH itself to do battle against those filthy Triforce bearers from...other eras...and that child without it..." Ganondorf grimaced. "...Only the kid from my era remains. Where has the Zelda I know gone?"
"The Zelda you know?" Chris said.
"This Ganondorf is the one from the Ocarina of Time era," Palutena said. "The one from the Twilight Princess era has been dropped."
"Are you insinuating I was replaced for a moment?" Ganondorf asked.
"Well, yeah, pretty much," the goddess said. "Somehow they decided to call you back after missing the previous two gatherings."
"T-two? I missed two chances? The nerve!"
"Oh, it'll be fine. I won't ever get replaced myself."
"I was not talking about you!" the lord of evil said.
"Anyhow, let's get to the segment and forget about replaceable Zelda reps," Palutena said. Ganondorf scoffed. "Your route is about your influence encroaching every universe...and breaking more than a few bones, at least for a bit. Your thoughts?"
"It is but a preview of what I can do without using my army," Ganondorf said. "...A real waste, considering I cannot do permanent damage rather than psychological damage."
"Oh, please. You gotta unwind a bit. Stop thinking about what you failed to do in your quest for evil magical dictatorship," Palutena said. "Get together with people who share your same mindset and enjoy the time you'll have here."
"What meaning is there if I cannot do any progress?" Ganondorf asked.
"Try expanding your horizons! Do what you thought was impossible! Besides choking Link's throat. Or, any Link's throat."
Ganondorf thought on that. "...This is all a big waste of my time!" he declared, leaving the scene.
Chris walked out from behind her back. "Well, that could've gone worse," he said.
"I guess his defeat at the hands of Link was too much for him," Palutena said. "Some people really need to let it go."
"...Getting a sword through the forehead is not something people get over with," Chris said.
"But some do!"
"Yes, when they get a second chance at life and they can resume their plans without limitations!" Chris pointed out. Palutena just giggled.
Key Notes:
Classic Mode Overview (repeated in every other character video)
Unlike before, you will never start your difficulty at the maximum difficulty (9.9). The limit you can start is at 5.0.
However, depending on how well you do in every fight, the difficulty will steadily increase. The factors that contribute an increase are if you...
1) ...finished the fight as quickly as possible.
2) ...didn't stay put or mess around.
3) ...actually managed to avoid damage altogether (meaning a perfect run, which doesn't really guarantee an extra point).
At best, you can get a whole point (or more) added to difficulty. At worst, you get nothing. "Nice Plays" may just be compliments that usually are around 0.8 additions. Do your best to get to the end of the mural.
Using tickets avoids losing difficulty, but in case the difficulty is still increasing, you'll get a 0.1 increase if you win a match.
Oh, and you only get ONE life. Lose it, and you'll either spend money to continue while losing difficulty, use a Ticket without the drawback, or simply give up.
Classic Mode runs for every character aren't the same anymore. Instead of random setups, every character has a set path revolving around a theme. No differences will be made if you retry the same route.
Moreover, the final boss may or may not be unique to every fighter. It may be Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand, but it can be someone else.
Ganondorf's Final Boss
The hands. Utilize Ganondorf's heavy hits to stun both targets as fast as you can, which should give you enough time to deliver even more damage. Just stay wary of any moves they make to dodge.
Special mention to that Link and Zelda fight. You're going to need luck to avoid all the projectiles they fling at you.
"Fitting of him to unlock Lucina; someone who comes from a bad future ruined by a greater evil," Palutena said. "You know, maybe I could ship her with Young Link."
"Don't you dare," Chris said.
"What? They're like two aged up peas in a pot. You know it could work. This is the kind of thing people expect us to do!"
"I'll ship you with Bowser."
"..." Palutena huffed in defeat.
Watch, enjoy, and comment, everyone.
