There was little activity in parts of Kampala as police and other security operatives deployed to block protests ahead of the much billed tabling of the motion for drafting constitutional amendments to remove the presidential age limit. The army and military police backed up regular police to stop protests. Police arrested several politicians including opposition party leaders.
