1960年生まれのシニア女子です。40代の半ばから、かなり重篤な特定疾患の潰瘍性大腸炎、東京都の指定疾患患者にまでなってしまった喘息、気候変動を敏感に感知してしまう気候病、軽度の糖尿病そしてセリアック病と病気のデパートの様な身体になってしまいました。東京で何度も救急車で運ばれた末、長期入院中に動けずに窓から外を眺める事しか出来なかった時、あくせく働いてきた為に病気にまでなってしまったので、もしもう一度動ける様になれたなら、残りの人生は海が見える部屋で穏やかに動物達と暮らしたいと思い、気候変動が少ない場所＆気を使わないで生活出来き、安定して病気療養が出来る場所を求めて、2010年に出身地である東京から動物達を連れて、知り合いが一人も居なく、しかも旅行にも来たことが無かった沖縄に、無謀にも単身でマンションまで購入して移住致しました。

移住して体調が安定するまで10年以上かかり、その間に車椅子生活＆両杖付いてしか移動出来ない等大変な事態も経験しました。リハビリも頑張って（もちろん今でも毎月の通院と投薬は欠かせませんが）今ではすっかり環境にもなれ、冬暖かく夏涼しい沖縄は病弱な身体に優しい事に感謝しながら、保護犬猫＆小鳥達と毎日楽しくのんびり暮らしています。

私は小麦類が食べられないセリアック病となってしまいましたが、食べる事が大好きなのでグルテンフリーの食品購入や、グルテンフリーが食べられる美味しいお店を探し出して訪れてみたりしています。アレルギー等をお持ちの方々のご参考になればとの思いで、今後もUPしていきたいと思っています。
又、グルテンフリー生活で体調も安定しましたので、更にオーガニック生活にも切り替えました。なのでオーガニック食品やお店のご紹介も沢山UPして行きます。
ガイドブックに載っている内容とは違う住民目線＆シニア目線で、沖縄の素敵な場所等や少し偏ってはいますが、こだわりのシニア生活の日々をお届けしたいと思っています。癒しの美しい海や、自宅のバルコニーから見える美しい海もUPして行きますので、どうぞ宜しくお願い致します。

I am a senior woman born in 1960. Since my mid-40s, I have been suffering from ulcerative colitis, a very serious specific disease, asthma, which has become a designated patient in Tokyo, a climate disease that makes me sensitive to climate change, mild diabetes, and celiac disease. My body became like that of a sick department store. After being taken away by ambulance many times in Tokyo, I was unable to move during a long hospital stay and could only look out the window.I had worked so hard that I had become ill, so if I could move again. Once I get used to it, I want to live peacefully with animals in a room with a view of the ocean for the rest of my life, and I'm looking for a place where the climate is less volatile, where I can live without worrying, and where I can recuperate from my illness in a stable manner. In 2010, I moved from my hometown of Tokyo to Okinawa, where I didn't know anyone and had never traveled, and bought an apartment on my own. .

It took more than 10 years for my health to stabilize after moving here, and during that time I experienced many difficult situations, including being in a wheelchair and being able to move only with the aid of both canes. I worked hard on my rehabilitation (of course I still have to go to the hospital every month and take medication), but now I'm completely used to the environment, and I'm thankful that Okinawa is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and is kind to my sickly body, and I spend my days with my rescued dogs, cats, and birds. I live a fun and leisurely life.

I have celiac disease, which prevents me from eating wheat, but I love eating, so I try to buy gluten-free foods and try to find and visit delicious gluten-free restaurants. I would like to upload this information in the hope that it will be helpful for people who have allergies etc.
Also, since my physical condition has stabilized due to my gluten-free lifestyle, I have also switched to an organic lifestyle, so I will be updating information about organic foods and shops.
Although it may be a little biased, we would like to provide you with a glimpse of the daily lives of seniors, such as wonderful places in Okinawa, from a resident's perspective and a senior's perspective, which is different from what is included in guidebooks. Of course, we will also upload the soothing and beautiful ocean and the beautiful ocean that can be seen from the balcony of your home, so please look forward to it.
