Weaving Fields of Sunflowers Rag Rug

In this video I weave my 2nd Rag Rug, which I've named "Field of Sunflowers". This is threaded on 8 shafts in a straight draw and woven in a twill draft. I used Brockens 12/6 Cotton Rug Warp for the warp and hem headers, 3/8" wide fabric strips for the hem allowance and 3/4" wide fabric strips for the main body of the rug. The warp was set at 8 end per inch with a weaving width of 27". The finished rug, after hemming, measures 23 1/2" x 36".
