Let's debunk some of the most common misconceptions about the "Black Hole of Historical Costuming," a.k.a. the 17th Century! There are so many myths out there about this era--most of which are perpetuated by the uninitiated! From the rumors about restrictive movement to the lack of events, I'll go through all of the ones that people have talked about to me over the years.
