In May 2024, DORDT IN STOOM, the largest steam event in Europe, will take place in Dordrecht for the 20th time. Approximately 300,000 people attended the event. Entrance is free. A day ticket can be purchased for historical transport, the 'Steam Tour Dordt'.

The massive event is spread over two areas in the city. The Dordt Steam Tour is a day ticket that takes the visitor back in time. The Stoomrondje Dordt gives access to all means of transport of the event. Included are the steam train, (historical) buses, access to the Model Building Show, the viewing of various ships, and (steam) boat tours. The Dordt Steam Tour day ticket is then available at all departure points. A tour can be made; the starting point is of your own choice. It takes at least three hours to see everything!
