Well, this was a fun one to learn - but very difficult to execute! This has to be one of the most, if not THE most, difficult songs I’ve done so far and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I learned the entire thing by ear, which was quite the process haha! I really love the new Vildhjarta though, so that made it a bit easier ;)

I remember browsing the internet on my old crappy laptop way back in 2011, and discovering this band out of the blue on some internet forum and I was blown away by it. At that point I’ve never heard something so massive like Omnislash: combining those kinds of low-tuned rhythms with big ambients and a larger-than-life production was completely new to me. Måsstaden Under Vatten reignited my love for that sound instantly, which resulted in me doing this playthrough!

Essentially this band is responsible for later getting me into bands such as Textures, Northlane, etc. And many of those bands changed music for me in a big way! So, thank you Vildhjarta!
