P38 Range Rover 4.6 - ABS FAULT intermittent Fixed

Описание к видео P38 Range Rover 4.6 - ABS FAULT intermittent Fixed

I had intermittent ABS faults. Sometimes I could place key in position 2, hit brake pedal 40 times before the Fault. Other times I drive for a while and then it would come on. It did not correlate to wheel movement, because with vehicle in Park it could still initiate the fault suddenly by pressing brakes.

This Icarsoft i930 works for SRS ABS Main ECU and Gearbox Fault code reading of P38 Petrol vehicle. I use it here to read ABS. You must select Diesel motor (a quirk). It showed brake switch error, the other errors were historical.

I Contact cleaned the purple green wire of brake switch where it branches out into 3 wires from a loom in kick panel. It had no continuity from brake switch to rear BECM connector pin 4. After cleaning I got continuity back. I also decided to clean every connector in the system. I found 5 or 6 oxidized plugs out of the 40 or so that I cleaned.
