While still in her teens and early 20's, Winnipeg native, Gisele MacKenzie, developed an impressive career as Canada's First Lady of Song. In 1951 she expanded her career by moving her base to the U.S., where she replaced The Andrews Sisters on the popular Club 15 program, and became a regular on Mario Lanza's Coke Time. In 1953 her mentor, Jack Benny, turned his television program over to Gisele as an audition for Your Hit Parade...she got the job, and became a household entertainment name. Just Walking in the Rain continues in Toyland, as Gisele performs this Johnny Ray hit for other dolls and toys.
