How to Repair Sail Luff Tape

If your sail's luff tape becomes damaged or ripped you may be able to repair it without having to replace the entire luff tape. In this video we will show you the proper steps required to patch a torn continuous support tape (luff tape). Also at the head of a genoa / jib sail the luff tape is subjected to a lot of stress, as it is feed in and out of the furling unit over and over again. This continuous in and out feeding at the head may cause damage and eventually some shredding of the luff tape. We will also show how to quickly and easily repair that type of issue in this video.
