Duxford Flying Evening 2024 | The Highlights

Last night saw the return for the Duxford Flying Evening in 2024. A fantastic evening air display featuring multiple warbirds, a vintage jet, aerobatic displays, airborne pyrotechnics and some little air racers!

The evening air display provides much more favourable light for photographers, and the weather didn't disappoint either.

Unfortunately, and for the second year in a row, the Hawker Fury Mk.II, which is seen taxiing out whilst Sally B was landing, experienced a technical snag during its run-up and had to abort its display. This along with the very small Cassutt Special IIIM Racer, which would have been the pilot's public display debut.
