Affordaplane Test Flight After Drive Rebuild

Second flight after rebuilding the gearbox, It was very gusty but the plane performed admirably. I'm not sure if its my repairs or the cooler weather, but she sure seems to get up quickly. A quick glance of the climb indicator reveled nearly 700 ft. per minute and I was at a 1000 feet before I knew it. The new camera view reviled that I may need to install some internal structure to the left side cowl, I have never seen it from that side and it appears to be dimpling in from the air pressure. It feels good to be back in the air and I think I'll hang close to home a bit more to monitor the repair.

FYI, anyone needing Hardware Brackets from the store may want to get them now, my understanding is we may be losing access to them soon. I will be in communication with the manufacturer to see what may be our next move.
