Boca Grande, Florida - Will Helene do anything to this area ??

SW Florida woke up to 77 degrees. This morning I felt like I had the beach all to myself. Everyone is keeping close eyes on the weather to see what path Helene will take. At this point, it appears that it will pretty much follow what Idalia did. But time will surely tell.

The ocean was very calm this morning. What was very un-usual were the amount of crabs on the beach. It actually was pretty hard to walk as you could come close to stepping on one. Some were alive and some were not. The birds, of course, were having a feast. I tried to show a small bit of them as I was walking along the beach.

At the end of the island, I was able to walk along the end where those big boulders are. If you have been watching my videos you will notice that they move and change quite a bit. The ocean waves are that strong that they get moved. Pretty awesome to see the difference each time I visit the tip of the island.

Such a peaceful time to sit back and enjoy what nature has to offer.
