Volvo C30 C70 S40 V50 Electric Power Steering (EPS) pump repair

Sharing my experience with Volvo C30 C70 S40 V50 Electric Power Steering (EPS) pump.
After using the pump for about one and a half year in my electric Jag, pump started making embarrassing noises so I needed to fix it or replace.
I am showing how to fixed this pump for $5 in parts.

UPDATE!!!
Thanks to viewer @user-sd5ph9ce2z there is alternative procedure for disassembling pump without cutting the cover. Here is how he did it:
"...The bottom tank is removable at least it was on my pump.
It’s not pressed on only glued with silicon type material, I cleaned away round the edge with a knife and also used IPA to loosen the silicon.
It takes some time but tank starts to move, then used a screwdriver to pry it away from body I did break a small piece off but this helped by getting under the tank to ease off.
When done simply reseal it back together..."
