Hiking STUNNING tea farms [Shizhuo Trails of Alishan]

We were really excited to hike the Tea Trail and Mist Trail, located partway down the mountain from Alishan National Park, and not far from Fenqihu, in Zhuqi Township. Our morning had a very interesting start, but we were determined to see the incredible tea plantations.

Longer summary:
Despite the rain, we press on to see the tea plantations and encounter a sweet smell in the air. The hike is steep and slippery, with numerous stairs, but the bamboo groves make it worthwhile. We rename the Tea Trail as the Awesome Bamboo Grove. Unfortunately, the sprinklers drench us, adding to the challenge. We keep going, laughing at our wet situation. We take breaks and note the stairs and wet conditions. Finally, we reach the summit, marked at 1699 meters.
