Gerry Marr is a passionate advocate for quality in healthcare delivery. He took up the position of Chief Executive, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) in February 2014 after leaving Scotland where he had a 40-year career in healthcare, including 13 years in senior executive roles.

Carrie Marr has had a long-term interest and hands on involvement in patient safety and the science of improvement. Her previous healthcare system at NHS Tayside was the first site in Scotland, and one of only four in the UK, to be a pilot site for The Health Foundation's Safer Patients Initiative. In her current role as Executive Director Organisational Effectiveness at the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), Carrie aims to support and enable WSLHD to continue its quality improvement journey.
