The text:

The people left long ago... in 1839 there were 34 families living at this place. These houses were called the "old glass huts". It was a flourishing time for this small area. Several farms, glass production, also a tavern. Now it's all dead... empty stones remained...

There's still the old chapel. It was built out of wood. Some say you can still hear the bell ring from time to time. I tried to find a way to see the bell. But I couldn't find a way to look inside. It's all locked up...

Maybe a ghost still dwells here ringing the bell for the occasional wanderer... or maybe it's just because Halloween is coming and that carved pumpkin fired up my imagination...
