I had a lot to say in the original description of this video, including what my friends and I thought of this song when we heard it on the radio back in January 1972, how I used
to kid my girlfriend at that time about her middle name, Marie, being the same as Marie Laveau's whenever the song came on, and some history about the real person being talked about in this song, Marie Laveau. It is ALL GONE, LOST, so much wonderful material ... and I can't re-invent the wheel, too much to do.
