The Wave, White Pocket is located nearby and is a wonder to behold. It is located in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument along the Utah, Arizona border. Directions to this place are easily available at the Kanab Visitor Center. Beware! The road out to it is long, dusty and deep sand. You will need a high clearance 4 wheel drive and excellent driving skills so you don't get stuck. Phone service is spotty and help is not easily reached. Take plenty of water and pay attention to your surroundings. Wear sunscreen and don't get lost. Pack out what you pack in and tread lightly. This beautiful area needs to be preserved.
