‘I recently bought the car with 144,000 miles on it and not much service history so it’s just for peace of mind. No dash lights on, I just think it runs a bit roughly.’

🗣️ The owner said that he had noticed it taking a while to warm up which confirmed the temperature issue.

❗ After 13 years and 145k miles a new thermostat required.

🧑‍🔧 On with the clean and it soon smoothed out, quietened down and by the end it was quiet, smooth and responsive again.
