HOW I BRED CLOWN KILLIFISH - THREE GENERATIONS OF FISH

In this video I will share with you the breeding process that I went through with three resulting generations of fish. It started with a male and two females ... then they spawned I reared 6 fry only one of which was a male.

As the male grew larger I felt that I needed to see if I just "got lucky" or if I could actually get them to spawn again ... so I took the adult females and fry out except for one. And I took out the adult male.

I knew the fry were still too young to spawn but would eventually mature and hopefully start spawning. Well guess what?? They did!! I feel much better now that they are spawning and producing fry and that I am not just "lucky" ... I may actually have learned something new to add to my aquarium skill "to do" list! lol
