Garden Tasks for September: Planning Next Year's Garden + Planting Beets

Hello, September! It feels like Summer came and went but at least we can still garden come the Fall. Colder weather doesn't mean gardening has to stop altogether; it just slows down. Night temps are already dipping in the low 50s (zone 6b) so, it's only a matter of time before Fall is really here. At this time of the season, I like to start planning ahead for next year's garden. I talk about a few tips I follow when doing this and also what I'm thinking of doing differently. I am also directly sowing beets for the first time so, let me know if you have any tips for me!
