Recanning Syrup in the Nesco Smart Canner | Save Money by Recanning Syrup

In this video I demonstrate recanning syrup in the Nesco Smart Canner. Recanning is a great way to save money, because you can buy food in, for example, #10 cans, and recan them in smaller jars so you can eat the food before it goes bad. In this case, I recanned a large jug of syrup to make room in my fridge for other items. If you have a Nesco pressure canner or a carey pressure canner, you'll find this video especially helpful because I demonstrate this recanning process using that type of canner. But even if you use a stove top canner or have just a large pot, you can follow the instructions in this video for recanning food items such as syrup.
