EP 16: Reaching for the Towers | The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

On this episode, we pick up a new side quest which is a simple "Give me luminous stones" one and they pay us. I am still wondering if they pay us a good price? And then we complete the mission we had earlier picked up where we had to click a photo of the Lynel. I spend some time just collecting the Luminous stones. We complete our main quest after this. We make some good bonds with the Zoras. Quite a touching story they've come up with. I really love how this is going.

After this, I decide to unlock a tower, except, I didn't realize how difficult it's going to become. I got to see new mobs and learned how to use new tricks, like deflecting a beam of those octorobos!! I bet I can parry it. I'm just not timing it right.

The tower is very far away and I get distracted by both, a blood moon and a shooting star. I still get very creeped out by the blood moon. But also, I fall into a very dangerous place while trying to get the shooting star. Needless to say, I die and make my way back here after a lot of hard work. Where I am greeted with more danger. The brother of octo robo, a flying robo! Which are very very difficult to kill. I try to fight anyway. Many, many times. And finally realize that the fighting isn't for me and somehow escape their attention and make it closer to the tower, where things don't get any easier for me. I am met with harder Bokos. Mipha tries to protect me a few times but I think I'm still too weak to survive even with all this protection. Anyway, after a lot of tries, I finally make it to the tower only to realize I'm probably not ready to climb it yet. Unfortunate because I invested a lot of my time in this. I did realize while editing the video that I'm missing something, but not what I am missing. I guess we will come back when we are stronger and wiser!

I decide after accepting defeat that I will head to the next Divine Beast. It wasn't worth it to waste any more time here. I climb many beautiful mountains and cross many rivers and reach the tower closest to the next Divine Beast. This place LOOKS hot! The devs have done such a beautiful job with this game. I love it. I am ready now to proceed but for now, we stop at a stable which we find by mistake while heading towards a shrine.
