Psychonauts 2 - Let's Play Part 32: The Prince

Psychonauts 2 a game that pays homage to its predecessor by poking fun and mocking its roots but still some how stays true to the wacky nature and mature humor that made the first game such a classic. In Psychonauts 2 we begin our journey by trying to ascertain the identity of the man who took our beloveds father our only suspect a crazed dentist ( as if any sane person could work in such a profession)in his mind we find nothing the chaotic rambling of a man made a prisoner by his thoughts as well as a puppeteer pulling all the strings. Psychonauts 2 does not stray from its origins when it comes to combat but it does improve on the formula fights feel more punishing making even simple encounters challenging while at the same time bringing back the much loved enemies. The puzzles and platforming also feels like a breath of fresh air no hand holding and forcing you to perfect your timings or plummet to your demise. The game is a perfect example of a sequel done right, so like me if you have never had the pleasure of playing through this chaotic adventure or just wish to see the newest psychonaut in action sit back relax and enjoy.
