This vintage footage filmed by me on 8mm cine film shows what Blackpool holidaymakers enjoyed at the beginning of the 1960s. The Pleasure Beach, the bathing beauty contest, the Blackpool Tower, and a day trip to the Isle of Man by aircraft for the princely sum of 52/6 (£2.65 in today's money).
