The quintessential W.A beach camp, 14 mile is one of the more well known beach camps along the coast and there’s a good reason for it 😍

Not only is it magic ✨One reason 14 mile is so popular is it’s fairly easy to get too from the highway. There are corrugations so let your tyres down to smooth out your ride🤚

We stayed on site 26, which as you can see is beach front. The road to this site and beach front sites is hard as cement, however sand on the sites is a little softer. Can’t speak for other sites and areas in terms of soft sand😟

Truth be told, we had it to ourselves because no one else was game enough to camp there given 60km winds were predicted for the first day☁️

The Bush Banditz & I were at it again cleaning up daily on huge Squid. We netted 6-7 each day that were monsters. Absolutely delicious 🤤

If you're looking for a land-based fishing spot, I was told that Turtle Rock is an awesome rock-based fishing spot. It’s also a good place to go and see turtles. Turtle rock is a short drive from camp towards Coral Bay🐟

There’s not a lot in the way of services here apart from a dump point and bins.

Don't expect reception however there is a booster tower a few kms down the road that will get you service. Also, no water so ensure you bring enough water 💦

One thing that’s great about this spot is that it’s only 30 minutes via a back track into Coral Bay. Meaning you can head back in for supplies if you find yourself running low🍔

It’s also only 30 minutes to the famous five fingers reef, if you have never snorkeled there. You must 🤿

There is heaps of exploring to do down the coast. Also head to pelican point to see hundreds of sharks in close🦈

It’s a beautiful spot but the wind can be hectic on a bad day💨 Check the weather and if it’s bad head behind the dunes🫢

Safe travels and come say hello on our Insta & Facebook " The Real Australian Dream".
