IRAN - "The Wonderland"
Cyrus The Great was the founder of the 1st Persian Empire 2, 540+ years ago. He established the first model of federal government system and taxation as we know it today. The empire consisted of many nations with different cultures from the west of India to Egypt. He proclaimed the first charter of HUMAN RIGHTS in his famous "The Cyrus Cylinder" inscription - no slavery, freedom of religion, racial equity, etc. Cyrus did not impose the Persian language or culture on subject nations. After he conquered Babylon (without war) he freed the Jewish slaves and funded their passage to Jerusalem and helped them to Rebuild their Temple. Cyrus is the Only non-Jewish figure identified as MESSIAH (book of Isaiah, chapter 45:1)

In 1928 Ernst Herzfeld, a German archaeologist confirmed that to tomb and the bas-relief at Pasargadae does indeed belong to that of Cyrus the Great, and then he went on to map the Perimeter of Pasargadae.

Cyrus the Great remains the most beloved leader in the Persian history because of the contributions he made to this world, and for this reason October 29 is declared internationally as "The Cyrus Memorial Day."
