STRUCTURE
• Area sizes: Large 15x30 | Medium 12x24 | Small 10x20.
• Arrange the pitch as shown in the video. Place a gate at either end of the pitch.
• Mark a halfway line in the practice area.
• The practice consists of ten (10) outfield players split into two (2) teams.
• The practice begins with a coach playing the ball into the attacking team.
• Part 1 -The objective of the attacking player is to pass through the gate to the player on the opposite side.
• Part 1 -The objective of the defending player is to prevent the attacker from passing through the gate.
• Part 2 - The objective of the attacking player is to pass through the opposite gate from their own half (1 point), dribble past the halfway line (2 points) and dribble past the halfway line and pass through the gate (3 points)
• Part 2 - The objective of the defending is to win the ball in the defending half (1 point), the attacking half (2 points) or win the ball anywhere and pass it through the opponents gate (3 points)

STRESSES
• Increase the distances of the press.
• Encourage the forward momentum from the defending player as they approach the ball.
• Adjust the starting positions of the defender to create different angles of approach.
• PHYSICAL LOAD: Adjust area sizes based on physical outcomes. Use larger areas for high sprints/distances and smaller areas for accelerations/decelerations.

INDIVIDUAL
• SCAN - See the ball and danger behind
• SHIFT - Press and pinch the ball
• SECURE - Win the ball and prevent the opponent from
progressing
