He was a pioneer Baul Saint, a superb songwriter, an eminent Bengali philosopher and , of course, a different religious thinker. Lalon Fakir biography is very difficult to present as there are few reliable sources for the details of Lalon's life story. Besides that, Lalon never said or wrote anything about himself, nor his deciples did. This is why there are so many debates and controversies over Lalon's biography or life story.

I have studied lots of sources regarding Lalon's biography, and made this video. I have discussed here the two main stream biographies which are very controversial in respect of Lalon's birth, birthplace, his bringing up, his religion and his death.
