Tricks that we use for stuck bearings:
Hand file on the outer edges of the bar shaft just as they can be damaged
Using a cup wire brush on a drill works great for general cleanup. It lets you get under the bar easily for cleanup. After the bearing is out it works for easy shaft cleanup. That makes it easier to get the new bearing on.
Yes we have CAREFULLY torches the bearings off. after that I end up sanding/wire grinding the shaft for cleanup and easier bearing install.
