Johnny hot dog

Portion serving: 3-4 pax
Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins
Calories: 360 per portion

Ingredients
Potato boiled & peeled 4-5 pcs
Green chilli chopped ½ tbsp
Salt ½ tbsp
Red chilli powder ½ tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Black salt ½ tsp
Rice flour ¼ cup
Roasted chana powder ¼ cup
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
Corn flakes ½ cup
Refined flour 3 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Water as required
Burger buns 2 pcs
Hot dog buns 2 pcs
Butter 1 tbsp
Mint chutney ¼ cup
Imli chutney ¼ cup
Ketchup ¼ cup
Onion slices as required
Tomato slices as required
Ketchup Mayo sauce ¼ cup
Caramelised onions ¼ cup

Method
Take a bowl, add boiled potatoes and mash them.
Then add chopped green chilli, salt, garam masala, red chilli powder, black salt, rice flour, roasted chana powder, and mix them.
The mixture is ready.

For Johnny's hot dog:
Apply some oil on palms, take some mixture and shape it into tikki size.
Heat oil in a pan, deep fry them until golden brown.
Now cut the bun from the centre and grill on a pan, apply some butter on it.
Apply mint chutney, imli chutney, ketchup, then place some onion rings, tomato slices and place the patty on it.
Then sprinkle some chaat masala and close it with the top side of the bun.
Johnny hot dog is ready to serve.

For Ajay Chopra Style Hot Dog:
Take one portion of the mixture, roll it into a cylindrical shape.
In a bowl, add refined flour, salt, red chilli powder, water and make a semi thick slurry.
Deep the cylindrical rolled hot dog in the slurry and then roll it in the crushed corn flakes.
Make sure it gets coated by corn flakes throughout.
Heat a pan with oil, deep these rolls until golden brown.
Now take a hot dog bun, give a slit cut and slightly grill it with some butter.
Apply ketchup mayo, some mint chutney, imli chutney and place the fried hot dog roll in the centre.
On the sides of the roll, place some onion slices and tomato slices.
