Toad the Wet Sprocket played "I Will Not Take These Things for Granted" for the first time in the fall of 1990. The band brought the song into the studio in January 1991 at Granny's House in Reno, Nevada while they recorded their third studio album. With the release of fear, "Granted" became the song that was used to close most concerts. The release of "Coil" saw "All Things in Time" take over that role in 1997. Both songs have since been replaced as the show closer but it's still commonplace to hear "Granted" played at Toad shows today. This particular performance was recorded at The Terrace in Austin, TX on May 30th, 1995 as Toad wrapped up their spring 1995 tour.
