Print making something creative for National Creativity Day (May 30)

May 30th is National Creativity Day, a day to show off your creative side!

For today, Jared made a creative print using wood type. The word “CREATIVITY” was printed using a different font of wood type for each letter. This type was made in the 1880s-1900. We have 350 different fonts in our print shop exhibit but not a lot that are fully complete or have a lot of type to print something substantial. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.
